Creating and Assigning Tasks

Step 2
Fill in the Task Details
Inside the project workspace, click Create New Task.
- Enter the task Name.
- The Project Name will be auto-filled, if it's not click in the field to choose one.
3. Status sets where the task currently stands in its workflow, such as Backlog (not started), Doing (in progress), Review, or Done.
The remaining fields are not mandatory.
4. Due date click the field and select a deadline from the calendar picker.
5. Parent Task use this field only when the task you're creating is a subtask of an existing task. Selecting a parent task nests this task underneath it, so its progress rolls up into the larger task rather than standing on its own. Leave this blank if the task doesn't belong under another one.
6. Labels help you group related tasks and easily find them later through filtering.
7. Priority sets how urgent the task is: High, Medium, or Low. It feeds directly into the Priority Breakdown chart on the dashboard, so managers can spot how much urgent work is on the board at a glance.
- Enter a short, optional Description explaining what needs to be done.
Step 3
Add Assignees
- Click the Assignees field.
- Select the relevant organization, if needed.
- Search for the user you want to assign.
- Click Add next to each user.
- Review the selected users, then click Confirm.
